Blind Spot Monitoring

Blind Spot Monitoring Blind Spot Monitoring is a sophisticated system that uses a radar to know when a vehicle is coming from behind. When it is on, if a vehicle enters in the area monitored by the radar, the system email immediately informs the driver using an illuminated icon on the side mirrors.	Lane Departure Warning Plus This safety system, standard on the new Jeep® Compass 4xe Plug-In Hybrid, monitors the position of the vehicle inside of its lane. If the vehicle drifts outside the lane, the system sends warming, and together with the Lane Keeping Assist system, it corrects the vehicle’s position bringing it back inside the lane.
Automatic Headlamps Automatic headlights allow you to illuminate the road ahead, even in the dark of night. If set to the correct light mode, the lights can turn on and off automatically depending on the conditions outside.	Drowsy Driver Detection Exclusive to the 4xe Plug-In Hybrids from Jeep®, The system detects the level of driver fatigue. A dedicated text message is sent to suggest the driver to rest when needed. Furthermore, an icon is added for the entire key cycle, even after removing the message on the TFT. This icon will disappear only if the driver stops, turns off the vehicle and rests.

Forward Collision Warning Plus

This system alerts the driver when it is getting too close, too quickly to the vehicle in front of it or an obstacle, and automatically activates the brake. Thanks to these functions, it is possible to avoid an accident or mitigate the impact.

Park Sense

Even the most difficult parking situations are now a walk in the park. Thanks to the Park Sense system, which utilizes four sensors integrated into the rear of the vehicle, the driver receives audible warnings when it comes too close to other vehicles or objects. The front sensors are also available as in optional in the Park Pack.

Rear Cross Path Detection

This system helps the driver in situations where rear visibility is reduced, like exiting out of parking spaces. Automatically activated when put into reverse, the system warns the driver through audible warnings and icons on the side mirrors, avoiding any possible impact with vehicles or people nearby. This system integrates perfectly with the parallel and perpendicular park assist that finds the right maneuvers depending on the parking space.
