Maneuverability with a helping hand
Electronic Stability Control is an advanced system designed to assist the driver in maintaining control of the vehicle at all times. It senses when you begin to over-or under steer applying individual brakes and controls your throttle as needed to help put you back on track. Electronic Roll Mitigation determined when a rollover may occur and applies braking force to help reduce the possibility of an accident.
Braking Power
Jeep® Wrangler offers All-Speed Traction Control with special calibrations for driving in 4LO, a Brake Assist System and a Four-Wheel Disc antilock Brake System (ABS) for improving vehicle control and decreasing stopping distances on dry and slippery surfaces.
Trailer Sway Control
As part of Electronic Stability Control, Trailer Sway Control helps keep you (and whatever you’re towing) on course and under control.
Discover parking made easier with Wrangler’s available parking features to make pulling in and backing out as simple as can be.
Whether backing up to a campsite, a boat launch or a parking spot, the ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera with dynamic grid lines combined with the Uconnect® touchscreen will make it easier.
Rear Cross Path Detection helps you back out of parking spaces when vehicles block your view. When you shift into reverse, sensors scan for vehicles and/or objects crossing your path and the system alerts you with a lighted icon in the exterior mirror.
These sensors located in the rear bumper detect obstacles behind you. They will sound an alert when you get close to a potential hazard when parallel parking or backing into a parking spot.
By constantly monitoring the space between your vehicle and others, the Blind Spot Monitoring System helps you maintain the right safety distance. When a side or rear blind spot is met, you are notified via illuminated icons on the side view mirrors or an audible chime.
Side-impact performance and vehicle stiffness is improved thanks to high-strength steel that is integrated into the B-pillar in the vehicle floor. Wide-spaced frame rails also cradle the mid-mounted fuel tank between the wheels for added protection, while the fuel tank features a 2.5-mm skid plate designed for safer and more secure off-roading
Active Speed Limiter and Cruise Control work in sync to help you stay within speed limits.
The system can identify the presence of an electronic key near the door and the tailgate, allowing unlocking / locking the doors on the trunk without having to press a button on the electronic key.
